4/2	No School / Have a wonderful Spring Break!!!

Word Work: Our class will be learning about contractions such as we'll, didn’t, she’s, and you’ve this week and the week following spring break. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the Unit 19 practice list for the week.

Keep on Reading:  Our second graders have done a wonderful job demonstrating their love for reading during March is Reading Month.  Please encourage your child to continue reading nightly during our vacation.  A few minutes of math fact practice would be very beneficial as well.  Thank you so much!
