Weekly Update

Week of March 22, 2021

Word Work: Our class will continue learning about compound words such as someone, cherry pie, and part-time. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the Unit 18 practice list for the week. 

Math News: We continue learning about measuring with inches and centimeters.  This week we will be estimating measurements, comparing measurements, and talking about the best tools to use.

Preparing For Spring Break:  If your child is going to be leaving early for spring break or returning late, please let us know as this will help us in our planning.  Thank you!
