First Week:  We are excited for our  first week in second grade!  We look forward to  all the great learning we have ahead of us.  Thank you for sharing your children and being a part of our Lincoln School Family.  

Nightly Reading:  Students are expected to read every night.  This week students are expected to read for 10 minutes each night.   If you have been reading throughout the summer and your child's reading stamina is greater than 10 minutes, please continue your routine.  The 2nd grade goal is for all children to read independently for a minimum of 20 minutes.  They should be able to read fluently, retell the information, and answer a variety of questions accurately.
